Mindfulness is often compared to exercise. But that comparison doesn’t capture its full potential.
Think about it: You practice a specific part of your day to stay fit for the rest of it. Many people approach mindfulness the same way: they practice it once a day and benefit from it all day long.
And they are right.
But here's the good part:
The goal of this course is to help you practice mindfulness every moment of your day , not just once.
And here’s something you might not realize : While mindfulness strengthens your attention like exercise strengthens your muscles, it also optimizes every situation in your life. Every moment of your day can be qualitatively improved through mindfulness.
So how do I achieve my goal?
Here's what you'll see and do in the course:
Technique Tool Kit: Start with a set of techniques and a solid understanding of how to use them.
Know Your Options: Learn which techniques to use, when, and why.
Practice, Practice, Practice: Practice these techniques, in class and get personal feedback to ensure you are on the right track and to overcome any obstacles.
Celebrate Your Successes: Understand what went well and repeat the process.
Find Your Pace: Discover your personal preferences, making mindfulness engaging and enjoyable.
